This \u201cmini-factory\u201d has several interconnected small skids. A real-time simulation process model was developed to also be able to do \u201coff-line education\u201d. At first the \u201creal plant\u201d was connected to several (major) DCS systems and the Mobatec process model could be connected to a (copy of) the DCS of Honeywell, Yokogawa, Siemens, SMAR, Emerson, ABB or Invensys. For maintainability reasons they later switched to only one DCS vendor.\n         <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"project-wrap\">\n         <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/NYRSTAR_C.png\"><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"project-title\">Heat Exchanger Network Modelling<\/h4>\n<div class=\"story\">\n            An energy producing and energy consuming process were to be heat-integrated for energy recuperation. The processes were quite far apart and with a dynamic process model studies were done to understand and optimize the dynamic behavior of the integrated processes under various conditions.\n         <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"project-wrap\">\n         <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/BODEC_C.png\"><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"project-title\">Simulated Moving Bed Modelling<\/h4>\n<div class=\"story\">\n            A process model for an SMB adsorption system was developed using Mobatec Modeller. The process model was connected to the actual PLC\u2019s that were to be implemented in the actual Malt House and was successfully used for the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).\n         <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"project-wrap\">\n         <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/LBI_C.png\"><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"project-title\">Steam System Modelling<\/h4>\n<div class=\"story\">\n            Dynamic process model of an entire steam network, including boilers, headers, control valves and controllers.
